Tangguh LNG Project, approved in Q1-2005, is one of the most complex projects in BP's portfolio and is one of the 5 major New Profit Centres in BP's growth strategy. The development involves tapping offshore gas fields, with proven resources of 14.4 tcf, and producing liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the Bintuni Bay area of the province of Papua (formerly called Irian Jaya).

1. Mechanical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be accountable to set up and coordinate mechanical engineering activities and ensure that the facility is safe, highly reliable and well-maintained. In addition, you will need to review any mechanical acceptance test/installation/ safety aspects and its integration in the mechanical completion, commissioning and start-up.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering;
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience;
Have an extensive discipline networks with the communities;
A good command of both oral and written English;
Strong leadership skills.
2. Process Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing advice on process engineering related activities. You will be held accountable to ensure safe installation and operation of offshore gas production platforms, pipelines, onshore LNG production, and storage and loading facilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Chemical/Petroleum Engineering;
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 8 years experience in technical/engineeri ng or operation of LNG plants and/or similar processing plant;
Proven mastery skill in the process engineering area;
Have an extensive discipline networks with the communities; Strong knowledge of gas conditioning & processing technology, heat transfer technology, process safety in design, refrigeration and cryogenic
liquefaction technology, water technology, steam generation system and fired heater technology;
Have an extensive discipline networks with the communities;
A good command of both oral and written English;
Strong leadership skills.
3. Senior Process Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing advice on process engineering related activities. You will be held accountable to ensure safe installation and operation of offshore gas production platforms, pipelines, onshore LNG production, and storage and loading facilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Chemical/Petroleum Engineering;
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with at least 10 years experience in technical/engineeri ng or operation of LNG plants and/or similar processing plant;
Proven mastery skill in the process engineering area;
Have an extensive discipline networks with the communities; Strong knowledge of gas conditioning & processing technology, heat transfer technology, process safety in design, refrigeration and cryogenic liquefaction technology, water technology, steam generation system and fired heater technology;
A good command of both oral and written English;
Strong leadership skills.
4. Rotating Equipment Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as the Rotating Equipment Engineer Technical Authority, your primary responsibility is to provide engineering support for all rotating equipment for all phases from Construction, Commissioning, Start Up and Handover to Operation. This will include, but not limited to, giving assurance that the installation and startup of the rotating machinery are in compliance with the project requirements, develop a long term maintenance strategy for refrigeration compressors and gas turbine drivers as well as delivery of a negotiated Long Term Service Agreement to implement the strategy.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering;
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 8 years in all applicable rotating equipments;Proven technical background on all rotating equipment design, installation and operation; experience in rotor dynamic analysis, vibration analysis, alignment techniques, basic material selection as well as field and in-shop balancing;
Have an extensive discipline networks with the communities;
A good command of both oral and written English;
Strong leadership skills.
